Introduction
Anamnese ("we", "our", or "us") is a personal productivity app that helps you plan your life, set and track goals, and build habits to reach them. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our application and services.
Our Commitment to Your Privacy
Your trust is the foundation of Anamnese. We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties — not your facts, goals, tasks, moments, notes, or any other information you store with us. Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Anamnese service for you.
Data We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: name, email address, and profile picture provided through your authentication provider.
- Memory data: personal facts, moments, goals, and tasks that you choose to store in Anamnese.
- Usage data: interactions with the application, feature usage patterns, and session information collected through analytics.
- Payment information: billing details processed securely through our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full credit card information.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to:
- Provide and maintain your personal AI memory layer.
- Personalize your experience across AI assistants that integrate with Anamnese.
- Process your subscription and manage your account.
- Improve our services and develop new features based on aggregated usage patterns.
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides enterprise-grade infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure that your data is only accessible to you. All connections to our services use HTTPS/TLS encryption.
Our staff does not access your personal content unless you specifically request technical support that requires it.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase: database hosting, authentication, and backend infrastructure.
- Google APIs: authentication (Google Sign-In) and calendar integration.
- Amplitude: product analytics to understand usage patterns and improve the service.
- Stripe: secure payment processing for subscriptions.
Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their respective policies.
Google User Data
Anamnese integrates with Google Calendar to display your calendar events alongside your tasks in the daily plan view. This section describes how we handle data received from Google APIs.
Data Accessed
We request read-only access (calendar.readonly) to your Google Calendar data. This includes your calendar list (names and colors) and calendar events (title, description, start/end times, location, and status). We do not modify, create, or delete any data in your Google account.
Purpose of Access
Google Calendar data is used solely to display your upcoming calendar events alongside your tasks in the Anamnese daily plan view, helping you plan your day in one place.
Storage
OAuth tokens (access and refresh tokens) are stored encrypted in our database to maintain your Google Calendar connection. Calendar event data is fetched on-demand directly from Google's servers each time you view your daily plan and is not permanently stored on our servers.
Sharing, Transfer & Disclosure
Anamnese does not sell, share, transfer, or disclose your Google user data to any third parties. Your Google Calendar data is only used within Anamnese to provide the calendar integration feature directly to you.
User Control
You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the Anamnese settings page. When you disconnect, your stored OAuth tokens are deleted and Anamnese will no longer have access to your Google Calendar data.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Anamnese's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data: view all your stored information directly within the application.
- Export your data: download your data at any time from the settings page.
- Delete your data: remove individual items or request complete account deletion from the settings page.
- Withdraw consent: stop using the service and request deletion of your data at any time.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated personal data — including facts, moments, goals, and tasks — is permanently removed from our systems. Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained for service improvement purposes.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
